At the heart of this 50th season is an exploration of “fifth” symphonies, featuring landmark works by Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, and Mahler. We are also pleased to share a lesser-known gem: Arnold Schoenberg’s orchestral transcription of Brahms’s Piano Quartet in G minor, affectionately referred to as “Brahms’s Fifth” at the time of its creation.

Alongside these anniversary offerings, we continue the traditions our audiences have come to cherish. Our Young People’s Concert returns with a Halloween theme featuring Peter and the Wolf and selections from Harry Potter, delighting young and old alike. We look forward to a festive concert of holiday favorites in December, and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue for our springtime pops concert.
