How long you have played? Since 1988.
Other instruments played? Viola and a little of everything
What do you do for a living? I taught orchestra for Baltimore County Public Schools at Ridgely Middle School for 7 years. Now I am a systems analyst for the Federal Government. Big change, but loving it so far.
Where did you go to school and study? Annapolis High School 1996, Towson University 2002 Bachelor of Science in Music Education, and Boston University 2009 Masters of Music in Music Education.
Why did I join the orchestra? Who wouldn’t want to work with a crazy and talented conductor like Jason? Plus we play awesome pieces.
Favorite books: I have been reading business books and Nicholas Sparks novels lately.
Favorite composer: Russian composers.
Interesting Fact #1: I have an advance open water SCUBA license.
Interesting Fact #2: I earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do when I was in middle school.
Interesting Fact #3: I have traveled to South Korea, Iceland, England, Wales, Scotland, Czech Republic, Bratislava, and Austria.
