Naomi Chang-Zajic, First Violin
Naomi Chang Zajic, violin, has been a member of the Columbia Orchestra since 2001 and a member of the Board of Directors since 2004. Coming from a non-musical family, she began learning the violin at age 8 and continued learning through the public school system while growing up in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her previous teachers include John Englund, formerly of the Boston Symphony, and José Miguel Cueto, currently of the Concert Artists of Baltimore. Naomi holds a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and a master’s degree in Professional Writing. She is a technical writer and editor for an engineering firm in the Baltimore-Washington area.
