We are grateful to our many loyal supporters, and hope you too will support the orchestra. Ticket sales cover only 25% of our expenses. Your donation helps make it possible for us to rent concert and rehearsal space, contract outstanding soloists, rent and purchase music, and keep the community informed of our activities. By contributing to the orchestra, you help to enrich our community and to sustain the priceless cultural heritage of classical music. Contributors will be acknowledged in our programs grouped into these giving levels:
- FRIEND (up to $99)
- DONOR ($100-$249)
- PATRON ($250-$499)
- BENEFACTOR ($500-$999)
- SPONSOR ($1,000-$1,999)
- CONDUCTOR'S CIRCLE ($2,000 and greater)
Thank you for your support. The Columbia Orchestra is incorporated in Maryland as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. All donations are tax-deductible.

Your donation will be confirmed by e-mail, and you will receive a written acknowledgement and thank-you by mail.
By mail
First print and fill out our donation card. Viewing and printing this form requires Adobe Acrobat Reader; if you don't have Acrobat Reader, you can download a free copy. Then mail the form along with a check to The Columbia Orchestra, sending it to the address at the bottom of this web page.
If you would like to make a non-cash donation to the orchestra, please contact the orchestra office at 410-465-8777. We will be happy to discuss other gifts with you.
If you would prefer that your donation remain anonymous, just let us know and we will honor your wishes.
About us
The Columbia Orchestra is a 501(c)(3) organization—donations to which are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. A copy of our current financial statement is available upon request by calling our office. Documents submitted to the State of Maryland Charitable Solicitations Act are available from the Secretary of State, State House, Annapolis, MD 21401, for the cost of copying and mailing.
