Concert Master

Brenda Anna, concert master. Photo by Don Eisenhart Brenda Anna is currently the concertmaster of the Columbia Orchestra and enjoys a busy freelance career in the Baltimore/Washington area. She attended the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University, where she studied with Yong Ku Ahn and Charles Libove. An experienced chamber musician, Ms. Anna performs with the Dickinson Piano Quartet and coaches adult amateur chamber musicians for Princeton Chamber Music Playweeks in Lawrenceville, NJ, and Lexington, VA. She has performed as soloist with the Mid-Atlantic Symphony, the Annapolis Chamber Orchestra, COSMIC, the Prince Georges Philharmonic, the Prince Georges Symphony, the Messiah College Orchestra, and the Columbia Orchestra. Brenda lives in Riverdale Park, Maryland, with her husband, Skip, and their sons, Ethan and Timothy.
